3.7.2 Creating the server private key

The server private key is automatically created during installation of JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant. When you re-create the server private key, execute the following command from the command prompt:

  ajswoasslc genrsa

Note
If UAC is on, you will need to open the Command Prompt window as an administrator to execute the ajswoasslc command. To open the Command Prompt window in Windows, click Start, All Programs, and Accessories. Right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator. If you turn UAC off, you will not need to open the Command Prompt window as an administrator.

If the server private key already exists, a message is output asking whether you wish to overwrite it. For details about the location of the server private key, see Appendix A. List of Files and Folders.

If you re-create the server private key, you need to re-create the CSR and the server certificate, and then restart the JP1/AJS3 WOA HTTP Server service. Also, the bit length of the server private key is 1,024 bits.
