3.7.3 Creating a Certificate Signing Request

A CSR (Certificate Signing Request) is created with the default contents during installation of JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant. When you re-create the CSR, execute the following command from the command prompt:

  ajswoasslc req

Note
If UAC is on, you will need to open the Command Prompt window as an administrator to execute the ajswoasslc command. To open the Command Prompt window in Windows, click Start, All Programs, and Accessories. Right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator. If you turn UAC off, you will not need to open the Command Prompt window as an administrator.

If the CSR already exists, a message is output asking whether you wish to overwrite it.

Note that a server private key is required to create a CSR.

You can enter the following information during creation of a CSR. If you only press the Enter key at each request, the default value is assumed.

Also, if you enter a period only, nothing is specified for the item.
