5.4 All Servers pane (Configuration tab)

Use the All Servers pane to create new server, delete existing server(s), view node and configuration of server(s), and count of application(s) and resource(s) in server(s). You can also start, stop, or restart all servers.

The All Servers pane displays the following dynamic item:

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of servers.

The All Servers pane displays the following items in a tabular format:

Server Selector

Displays a check box for each server(s) listed in the Name column. If the header check box of the Server Selector column is selected or cleared, then all check boxes in the Server Selector column are selected or cleared respectively.

Name

Displays the name of all the Java EE servers, Performance Tracer servers, and Web servers (as a link) available in the domain. Click this link to display the general information of the corresponding server. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Configuration

Displays the configuration name of the server(s) (as a link) listed in the Name column. Click the link to display the corresponding Java EE Configurations pane. However, if the target pane is not available, then a list of servers is displayed. For non-Java EE servers, this column displays a hyphen (-). This column can be sorted.

Number of Applications

Displays the total number of applications deployed on each server listed in the Name column. For non-Java EE server(s) in the Name column, this column displays a hyphen (-). This column can be sorted.

Number of Resources

Displays the total number of JDBC resources associated with each server listed in the Name column. For non-Java EE server(s) in the Name column, this column displays a hyphen (-). This column can be sorted.

Node

Displays the node name (as a link) of the server(s) listed in the Name column. Click this link to display the corresponding Node General pane.

The All Servers pane displays the following action items:

Start All button

To start all the servers, click the Start All button to display the Start Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

Stop All button

To stop all the servers, click the Stop All button to display the Stop Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

Restart All button

To restart all the servers, click the Restart All button to display the Restart Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

New button

To create a new server, click the New button to display the Create New Server dialog box, specify the required details, and then click the OK button.

Delete button

To delete the selected server, click the Delete button to display the Delete Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. By default, this button is disabled. To enable the Delete button, select at least one server using the check box in the Server Selector column.
