4.29 Cluster Server tab (Management tab)

Use the Cluster Server tab to view all the Java EE server(s) that are available in the selected cluster and the node on which the Java EE server(s) are hosted. You can also start, stop, or restart the selected cluster.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following dynamic items:

Sub title

Displays the name of the selected cluster, cluster state icon, and cluster state. The cluster can be in any one of the following states:

  • Working
  • Stopped
  • Partially Running

The state of the cluster is displayed based on the following conditions:

  • Working: If all the Java EE servers associated with the selected cluster are working.
  • Stopped: If all the Java EE servers associated with the selected cluster are stopped.
  • Partially Running: If the selected cluster contains both working and stopped Java EE servers.
Server Count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of clustered servers available in the selected cluster.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following Server items in a tabular format:

Name

Displays the clustered server name (as a link). Click this link to display the corresponding Clustered Java EE Server Log tab. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Clustered server status

Displays the server state icon of the clustered Java EE server(s) listed in the Name column. The clustered Java EE server can be in any one of the following states:

  • Working
  • Stopped
  • Requires to Restart

This column can be sorted.

Node

Displays the node name (along with a link button) of the clustered server(s) listed in the Name column. Click this link button to display the corresponding node in the Node General pane (in the Configuration tab). This column can be sorted.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following action items:

Start Cluster button

To start the selected cluster, click the Start Cluster button to display the Start Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Stop Cluster button

To stop the selected cluster, click the Stop Cluster button to display the Stop Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Restart Cluster button

To restart the selected cluster, click the Restart Cluster button to display the Restart Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.
