4.4 Domain Administration Server Application tab

Use the Domain Administration Server Application tab to view all the applications deployed in the Domain Administration Server (DAS). You can also enable or disable applications on the associated target(s), launch applications, and stop or restart the DAS.

The DAS Application tab displays the following dynamic items:

Sub title

Displays the name of the DAS, server state icon and server state.

Application count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of applications deployed in the DAS.

The DAS Application tab displays the following items in a tabular format:

Name

Displays the application name (along with a link button). Click this link button to display the general information of the corresponding application in the Application General tab (in the Configuration tab). By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Description

Displays the description of the application(s) listed in the Name column. If the description of an application is not available, then this display item is blank. This column can be sorted.

Target

Displays the information of the target (along with a link button). Click this link button to display the selected application in the All Applications Target tab (in the Configuration tab). The target information format is "Enabled on count of targets on which application is enabled of count of targets on which application is deployed Target(s)". This column can be sorted.

Enabled

Displays check boxes to enable or disable the application(s) (listed in the Name column) on its associated target(s). If an application is enabled on at least one target, then the corresponding check box is selected. If an application is disabled on any of its targets, then the corresponding check box is cleared. To enable an application, select the corresponding Enabled check box to display the Enable Application dialog box, and then click the OK button. To disable an application, clear the corresponding Enabled check box to display the Disable Application dialog box, and then click the OK button. This column can be sorted. If you enable an application by using a command and a different version of the application is already enabled, then that version is disabled. However, if you enable an application from Administration Console and a different version of the application is already enabled, then that version is not disabled.

Action

Displays a Launch button for each application listed in the Name column. To launch an application, click the corresponding Launch button to display the Launch Application dialog box. If you specify the required details in the dialog box and click the OK button, then the application is started in a separate window. If the selected application is not enabled on any of the targets on which it is deployed, clicking the Launch button displays the Information dialog box. This dialog box informs you to enable the application on the target(s) on which it is deployed, before launching the application.

The DAS Application tab displays the following action items:

Stop button

To stop the DAS, click the Stop button to display the Stop Server dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Restart button

To restart the DAS, click the Restart button to display the Restart Server dialog box, and then click the OK button.
