1.5.1 Adding (importing) service templates to JP1/AO
Adding service templates to JP1/AO is referred to as importing service templates.
Before you begin
Permissions and roles required for this operation:
- Users who have Administrator or root permissions for the OS, and users who have the Admin or Develop role.
Procedure

Log in to JP1/AO.

In the main window, select the Service Templates tab.

In the Service Templates area, click the Import button.

Click the Selection button, and then specify a service template file (*.st) that you want to import.
- You cannot select a service template file (*.st) that is under development.
- Do not use any multi-byte characters to name a service template file.

Click the OK button.
Result
The service template is imported to JP1/AO.
You can check the imported service template in the Service Template area.

- To import service templates from the command line interface, execute the importservicetemplate command.

The service templates that you build or release by using the Service Builder window are automatically imported.

To import two or more service template files (.st files), create a .ZIP file containing the service template files, and then import the ZIP file. When you create a .ZIP file, no folder is needed, and only the service template files must be compressed.
