2.4.2 Setting Dashboard window

The Setting Dashboard window is a window for creating or editing new dashboards. This is displayed when you click the New button in the Dashboard List dialog box or click Edit from the Operation menu on the Dashboard tab.

The following shows an example of the Setting Dashboard window.

Title

Specify the dashboard name up to255 character.

Display target date and time

The start and end date and time of the data to be displayed are displayed.

When selected, the Display range setting dialog box is displayed.

Update interval

Select the interval at which the data displayed in the dashboard is refreshed from the pull-down menu. The default is 10 minutes.

  • Manual

  • 1 minute

  • 5 minutes

  • 10 minutes

  • 15 minutes

  • 30 minutes

  • 1 hour

Finish

Do not save the contents and end the edit.

Save button

Save your edits.

Add panel button

Clicking this button displays the Add panel window.

Clicking this button displays the various setting menus in the pull-down menu.

Layout:Column

Set the number of panel to display next to the dashboard.

You can set a value from 1 to 8.

Delete all panels

Deletes all panels in the dashboard.

Delete dashboard

Delete the dashboard you are configuring.

(1) Panel operation

This section describes the operations of the panels displayed on the dashboard currently being edited.

Clicking [Figure]on the panel displays the panel operation menu in the pull-down menu.

  • Edit

    Switch to the Edit panel window.

  • Duplicate and add

    Duplicate the panel and switch to the Edit panel window.

  • Display range setting

    Click this button to display the Display range setting dialog box. You can set the display range for each panel.

    Important

    If the end date and time is set earlier than the start date and time in the display range settings, the data acquisition will fail when the panel is displayed.

Specification method

Clicking the pull-down menu allows you to select Same as dashboard display range, Time difference from the dashboard display range, Time difference from the dashboard display range (start time or end time), or Start time and end time.

By setting a different display range for each panel, you can display data from one week ago alongside the current data, among other things.

  • Same as dashboard display range

    If Same as dashboard display range is selected for Specification method, no other fields need to be specified.

  • Time difference from the dashboard display range

    If Time difference from the dashboard display range is selected for Specification method, specify the Time difference.

    The value of time difference can be specified by clicking the value (1h, 3h, 12h, 1d, or 1w) on the right or by typing. For direct entry, specify an integer value greater than or equal to 1 and a unit (m, h, d, or w), as follows:

    - 30m: 30 minutes

    - 1h: 1 hour

    - 2d: 2 days

    - 3w: 3 weeks

  • Time difference from the dashboard display range (start time or end time)

    If Time difference from the dashboard display range (start time or end time) is specified in the Specification method, specify Start time or end time of the dashboard, Past or future range of the time difference, and Time difference.

    - Start time or end time of the dashboard: Select Start time or End time from the pull-down menu.

    - Past or future range of the time difference: Select Past range or Future range from the pull-down menu.

    - Time difference: Same as specifying Time difference from the dashboard display range.

    If you set a time earlier than the start time to the end time in the Trend, Ranking, Numerical value, or Gauge panels, or set a time later than the end time to the end time, the panel displays "NO DATA". In addition, the "!" icon (red) is displayed on the left side of the panel name, and the "Acquisition of the data failed." message is displayed in the tooltip.

  • Start time and end time

    If Start time and end time is specified in the Specification method, specify the Start time and End time.

    Click the Start time or End time entry field to display the calendar dialog box, and specify the date and time.

    If only one event is selected in the Events area of integrated operation viewer, Selection event input is activated. Click this button to set the registration date and time of the selected event.

    If the end time is set to a time earlier than the start time in the Trend, Ranking, Numerical value, or Gauge panels, or set a time later than the end time to the end time, the panel displays "NO DATA". In addition, the "!" icon (red) is displayed on the left side of the panel name, and the "Acquisition of the data failed." message is displayed in the tooltip.

  • Unset display range

    Cancel the setting contents of the display range. Set Same as dashboard display range in the Specification method of the display area setting.

  • Delete

    Remove panels from the dashboard.
