7.1.1 Prerequisites
In order to use automatic response action and manual response action, Intelligent Integrated Management Database must be set up.
Response action has different prerequisites depending on the type of response action to be executed. For details about response action type, see "suggestion definition file" (2. Definition file) in the manual "JP1/Integrated Management 3-Manager Command, Definition File and API Reference".
If you want to run response action with a command (response action type is cmd), the following prerequisites must be met:
-
JP1/IM - Manager 13-00 or later is installed on the host where JP1/IM agent management base that manages the destination host is installed.
-
The host where the target host and JP1/IM agent management base that manages the target host are installed must exist in the system configuration.
-
If JP1/IM - Manager is configured with Integrated Manager and lower manager, the port-number # that Intelligent Integrated Management Base service accepts HTTP communication must be the same.
Note: Intelligent Integrated Management Base definition file's server.port parameters
If you run response action automatically or manually in an environment that does not meet the prerequisites, error messages are outputted to the unified trace log. Response action is not executed.
