1.6.10 Search element name dialog

Use the [Search element name] dialog to search for partial matches of element name and display the search results path list. You can also edit mapping definition while the [Search element name] dialog is displayed.

The [Search element name] dialog is displayed when you right click the appropriate place in the tree viewer on the data transformation definition screen and select [Search element name].

Organization of this subsection

(1) Displayed items

[Search]

Specify the search string here. By clicking the [Search] button, you can search nodes that contain the search string.

The nodes that will be searched are as follows:

  • Logical name

  • Complex content element

  • Simple content element

  • Attributes

  • any element

  • anyAttribute

  • #(sequence), #(choice)

  • #anonymous

Note the following points while performing search:

  • Search string characters are not case sensitive.

  • You cannot perform search with regular expressions

  • The entire path of node does not become search target. Only the end of element name becomes search target.

Search results display paths of node in a list format in [List of Search results].

[Search] button

Searches for nodes that contain the search string specified in [Search]. Search results are displayed in [List of search results].

[Search target]

Select the [Transformation source node] or [Transformation destination node] as the search target.

[List of search results]

Path of the nodes in the search results are listed according to the node display order on the screen. If you choose a displayed path, node is selected as follows:

  • If the [Search target] is Transformation source node, the corresponding node on the Transformation source schema tree viewer is selected.

  • If the [Search target] is Transformation destination node, the corresponding node on the Transformation destination schema tree viewer is selected.

You can copy a path to the clipboard by selecting and right-clicking the path and then clicking Copy Element Path in the context menu. In the case of N-to-one transformation, the path including $schema-logical-name (business-process-variable-name) is copied. Note that Copy Element Path is not displayed by right-clicking a schema logical name shown in the search results.

[Search number of elements]

Number of search results is displayed.

Note that this item is displayed below [List of search results] after you have clicked on the [Search] button.

[Close] button

Closes the [Search element name] dialog.

(2) Operations that can be performed in this dialog

You can search for partial matches od element name with the [Search element name] dialog. If there is a large number of Transformation source nodes and Transformation destination nodes, you can easily search for the node that you want to use.
