1.6.3 Select Root Element Dialog
In the Select Root Element dialog, select the root element of the schema logical name to be mapped.
This dialog opens when you perform one of the following operations:

Open the Data Transformation Definition window from a data transformation activity in the Adapter Definition window or Business Process Definition window (when newly defining data transformation)

Displays the Data Transformation Definition screen after the root element of schema (message format) is changed or deleted.

Right-click a schema logical name in the source schema tree viewer or target schema tree viewer, and then click Select Root Element.

Shows the schema logical names of the mapping-target XML schema files.
- Root element

Select a root element from the drop-down list. The schema of the selected root element is displayed in a tree format in the Data Transformation Definition window.
- Source/Target

Shows Source when the mapping-target XML schema file is a source XML schema file, and shows Target when the mapping-target XML schema file is a target XML schema file.
- OK button

Commits the specified contents and closes the dialog.
- Cancel button
-
Cancels the specified contents and closes the dialog. Disables the specified contents, and closes the dialog. An error occurs, when you click this button in the following cases:

When you select the root element for the first time

When you change the message format and redefine the data transformation

(2) Operations that can be performed in this dialog
In the Select Root Element dialog, you can select or change the root element. When the root element is selected or modified, the schema of the root element is displayed in a tree format in the Data Transformation Definition window.
