1.4.9 Invoke Service Activity Dialog
You use this dialog for defining invoke service activity details.
This dialog opens when you perform one of the following operations:

Double-click a service invocation activity on the canvas.

Select and right-click a service invocation activity on the canvas, and choose Setting.

- Activity name

Specify an activity name. You can use the NCName definition characters of XMLSchema. Specify an activity name that is unique inside a business process or scope.
- Service name
-
From the drop-down list, select the service component to be invoked by sending a request message. The drop-down list shows the service components displayed in Service Definition List in the tree view.
- Operation name

From the operations of the service component specified in Service name, select the name of the operation that is to be actually invoked.
- Communication model

Displays the communication model (Sync or Async) specified for the operation selected in Operation name.
- Request message
-
Use the following items to specify the variables relating to request messages.
- Body allocated variable
-
From the drop-down list, select the variable to be allocated to the request message that invokes a service component. The drop-down list shows only the variables (defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog box) that can be used.
- Edit button

Opens the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog box.

- Header allocated variable

Opens the Header allocated variable dialog box. As needed, use this dialog box to specify the header allocated variable to be allocated to an activity.

- Response message

Use the following items to specify the variables relating to response messages.
- Body allocated variable

From the drop-down list, select the variable to be allocated to a response message received from synchronous operation. The drop-down list shows only the variables (defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog box) that can be used.

Opens the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog box.

- Header allocated variable

Opens the Header allocated variable dialog box. As needed, use this dialog box to specify the header allocated variable to be allocated to an activity.

- Correlation set group

Click Setting to allocate an already defined correlation set group. Correlation set groups are allocated to both request messages that invoke service components and response messages received from service components.
- Setting button

Opens the Allocating Correlation Set Group dialog. Use this dialog to specify the correlation sets to be allocated to request messages that invoke service components and response messages received from service components. Moreover, you specify whether to initialize the correlation sets to be allocated, and set up the pattern.

- OK button

Saves the defined contents and closes the dialog.
- Cancel button

Closes the dialog without saving the defined contents.
