1.4.7 Receive Activity Dialog
You use this dialog for defining receive activity details.
This dialog opens when you perform one of the following operations:

Double-click a receive activity on the canvas.

Select and right-click a receive activity on the canvas, and choose Setting.

- Activity name
-
Specify an activity name. You can use the NCName definition characters of XMLSchema. Specify an activity name that is unique inside a business process or scope.
- Operation name
-
Specify the operation name used when invoking a service component from a service requester, within 255 bytes. You can use the NCName definition characters of XMLSchema.
For the operation name, specify a name that is not specified for another receive activity inside the business process.
- Body allocated variable
-
From the drop-down list, select the variable to be allocated to the request message of the business process. The drop-down list shows only the variables that can be used of those defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog.
- Edit button

The Variable-Correlation Set dialog opens. Click this button to edit the contents of the variable specified in Body allocated variable.

- Header allocated variable

Click the Setting button to allocate an already defined header allocated variable to an activity.
- Setting button

Opens the Header allocated variable dialog box. As needed, use this dialog to specify the header allocated variable to be allocated to an activity.

- Correlation set group

Click the Setting button to allocate an already defined correlation set group to an activity.
- Setting button

Opens the Allocating Correlation Set Group dialog box. As needed, use this dialog box to specify the correlation set to be allocated to an activity. Also specify whether to initialize the correlation set to be allocated.
If you select no for Instance generation, you must specify a single correlation set that is not to be initialized.

- Communication model

Select Sync or Async for the operation.
- Instance generation

Select whether to initialize the process when a request message is received.
- OK button

Saves the defined contents and closes the dialog.
- Cancel button

Closes the dialog without saving the defined contents.
