7.1.2 Preparations for using the automated action function
A server program provided by JP1/Base to enable event registration and acquisition is called an event server. This section explains the preparations for using the automated action function. Both the event server side and the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Agent side require this preparation.

(1) Preparation on the event server side
(a) Using JP1/IM - Manager and JP1/Base
Define automated actions for the event IDs on the console.
(2) Preparation on the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Agent side
On the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Agent side, specify whether to send events, types of events to be sent, and other information in the settings file of the client service and in the settings file of the generator tools.
