3.16 Procedure for uninstalling JP1/ITDM2 - SDM (Smart Device Android Agent) from the Android device (using the Android device settings menu)

Use the Android device Settings menu to uninstall JP1/ITDM2 - SDM (Smart Device Android Agent) from the Android device.

Procedure

1. In Settings - General - Security - Device administration - Device administrators, confirm that the check box of the Android Agent (application name: JP1ITDM2SDM) is disabled. If the check box is enabled, tap the Android Agent (application name: JP1ITDM2SDM) and then tap Deactivate in the displayed

2. When the Android Agent is displayed in the home screen/application list, hold down the application (application name: JP1ITDM2SDM) of JP1/ITDM2 - SDM (Smart Device Android Agent).

   When the Android Agent is not displayed in the home screen/application list, move the display screen from the Settings menu to the Apps or Application manager screen.

3. When the Android Agent is displayed in the home screen/application list, drag and drop the application onto the item of Uninstall.

   When the Android Agent is not displayed in the home screen/application list, tap the Android Agent (application name: JP1ITDM2SDM) and then tap Uninstall.

   Confirm that the dialog to allow uninstallation is displayed, and then tap OK.

   JP1/ITDM2 - SDM (Smart Device Android Agent) is uninstalled.

4. Tap Uninstall.

   JP1/ITDM2 - SDM (Smart Device Android Agent) is uninstalled.
