A.1 Notes that apply to the manager
This section provides cautionary notes that apply to the manager side when JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Agent is installed on a computer running Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Vista.

Jobs that attempt to modify the registry or a file that is protected by Windows Resource Protection result in an error.

Do not assign symbolic links, hard links, or junctions to the following files and directories:

Installation directories specified during packaging or remote installation

Directories and files targeted for remote collection
If a symbolic link, hard link, or junction is assigned to any of these files and directories, that file or directory cannot be used in processing that relates to packaging, remote installation, or remote collection.
