7.6.4 Changing the settings for installed software

If you install software programs for which the settings can be changed by using INI files, you can change the settings for these software programs by remote installation, even after they are initially installed.

For example, to change the settings for Software A:

1. Stop the service of Software A by using the net stop command.

2. Perform remote installation to distribute the INI file where you changed the settings.

3. Start the service of Software A by using the net start command.
