7.1.3 Checking the stored packages

You can check the contents of the stored packages by using the Package window of the Packager.

To check the contents of a package, from the View menu of the Package window, select Items to View and then Package Attribute. The contents of the package you selected are displayed in the right pane of the Package window.

You can check the properties of a package by using the Packager. You can also check the information specified during packaging by using the Details of Attributes dialog box, which can be displayed from the Properties dialog box.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Checking the package properties

Use the following procedure to check the properties of a package that is stored in a cabinet. Note that you cannot view the properties of multiple packages at the same time.

  1. In the Package window, select the package whose properties you want to check.

  2. From the File menu, select Properties.

    The xxx Properties dialog box appears (where xxx is the package name).

  3. Click the Details button in the xxx Properties dialog box.

    The Details of Attributes dialog box appears, as shown below, and you can view the information specified during packaging.

(2) Notes on checking the package details

If a package is deleted while its properties are being displayed, the attribute details cannot be displayed.
