Arguments
-rc retry-count
This option is available only for UNIX. This option specifies the maximum number of retries to check the service status. Acceptable values are between 15 and 300. If this option is omitted, the system uses the value of 15.
In UNIX, the start of a service might be terminated when a prerequisite program takes too long to start due to heavy load or other reasons. In such a case, you can execute the command with the -rc option to increase the maximum number of retries to check the service status.
Note
-
In Windows, do not specify any arguments in the jpcwstart command. If any argument is specified, the command results in an error.
-
This command cannot be executed concurrently with the command jpcwconf on the same host.
-
If you have enabled both automatic start and automatic stop of services in an environment powered by CentOS 7 or later versions, Linux 7 or later versions, Oracle Linux 7 or later versions, SUSE Linux 12 or later versions, start or stop the PFM - Web Console service by using the systemctl command. Starting or stopping the PFM - Web Console service by using the jpcwstart or jpcwstop command renders automatic service stop impossible.
The following example starts or stops services by using the systemctl command.
Service start: systemctl start jp1_webcon
Service stop: systemctl stop jp1_webcon
-
In Linux, if you want to specify the -rc option for starting the PFM - Web Console service automatically, edit the script file for the automatic service start feature for PFM - Web Console (jpcw_start) as follows:
Before:
nohup /opt/jp1pcwebcon/tools/jpcwstart
After:
nohup /opt/jp1pcwebcon/tools/jpcwstart -rc retry-count
