Arguments
-immediate
Specifies if the running process is stopped forcibly. An error will occur when the wrong argument is specified.
For example, when the jpcwstop command is executed on the UNIX version of PFM - Web Console, processing to stop the service might take a significant amount of time, causing the jpcwstop command to fail. As such, specify the -immediate option to make sure that services, including cluster operations, have stopped.
Note
-
If you have enabled both automatic start and automatic stop of services in an environment powered by CentOS 7 or later versions, Linux 7 or later versions, Oracle Linux 7 or later versions, SUSE Linux 12 or later versions, start or stop the PFM - Web Console service by using the systemctl command. For details, see the notes on the jpcwstart command.
