1.4.11 Alarm Table Bind Settings [Select Alarm Tables] window

This window is displayed when the functionality for binding multiple alarm tables is enabled. This window is used to bind (associate) or unbind multiple alarm tables and the monitoring agents. To display this window, in the Agents window, on the method frame, choose the Alarm Table Bind Settings method.

The following figure shows the Alarm Table Bind Settings [Select Alarm Tables] window.

The following describes the displayed items:

Refresh

Updates the Alarm Table Bind Settings [Select Alarm Tables] window to the latest status.

OK button

Associates the monitoring agent selected in the navigation frame of the Agents window with the alarm tables selected in the Contents area, or releases their association.

This button is enabled once you change the selection of alarm tables from the default selection.

Cancel button

Cancels the operation.

Selected alarm tables are displayed when a filter is performed

Use this check box to specify whether to display the selected alarm table when the next filtering is performed.

  • Selected

    The selected alarm table continues to be displayed regardless of whether it satisfies the filtering conditions. The only alarm tables that are displayed are those that are not selected, but satisfy the filtering conditions.

  • Cleared

    Only alarm tables that satisfy the filtering conditions are displayed.

Text box

Use this text box to filter alarm tables by keywords. Note that this functionality cannot be used if the PFM - Manager version is 09-00 or earlier. Specify a character string of 1 to 1,024 characters to filter the alarm tables that will be displayed. To perform a multi-keyword AND or OR search, delimit keywords by using a single-byte space, a two-byte space, or a tab. A delimiter is counted as one word. The maximum number of words that can be entered as filtering keywords is 100.

Filter button

Filters alarm tables by using the string specified in the text box. When filtering is performed, the Show User Alarms or Show Template Alarms check box is no longer available.

Clear button

Clears the filtering status and the filtering condition.

AND

Select this option button to perform an AND search.

OR

Select this option button to perform an OR search.

Select All button

Selects all check boxes in the displayed Select column.

UnSelect All button

Clears all check boxes in the displayed Select column.

Show User Alarms

Displayed when the functionality to display separately an alarm table created by the user and an alarm table of the monitoring template is enabled.

Select this check box to view the alarm table created by the user.

Show Template Alarms

Displayed when the functionality to display separately an alarm table created by the user and an alarm table of the monitoring template is enabled.

Select this check box to view the alarm table of the monitoring template.

Contents area

A list of alarm tables is displayed. From these alarm tables, you can select an alarm table you want to bind (associate) or unbind.

Select

Select the applicable check box for an alarm table you want to bind with the monitoring agent. Clear this check box for an alarm table you want to unbind.

Alarm table

Displays alarm table names.
