1.3.3 Change Password window
The Change Password window is used to change the login user's password. To display this window, in the Main window, from the menu bar frame, choose Change Password.
The following figure shows the Change Password window.

The following describes the displayed items:
- Close button

Closes the Change Password window.
- Current password
-
Enter your current password (before change).
- Password and Confirm new password

Specify a new password with 1 to 16 characters. The permitted characters are the alphabetic characters (both upper case and lower case), numeric characters, and symbols (! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ ] \ ^ _ ` { | } ~ space). The alphabetic characters are case sensitive.
Any leading and trailing spaces entered are deleted.
- OK button

Applies the specified settings and closes the Change Password window. When this button is clicked, the specified settings take effect.
- Cancel button

Discards the specified settings and closes the Change Password window.

For Performance Management, it is recommended that a password consist of at least six characters and include a mixture of alphabetic characters, numeric characters, and symbols. If the password you enter is not consistent with these recommendations, such as a password consisting of only alphabetic characters, only numeric characters, or fewer than six characters, a confirmation message will be displayed. A message will also be displayed if the entered password is the same as your user name.
