4.7 Deleting Items
You can delete Items you have created.
Only the following users can perform these operations:

Process work board managers

Users who have delete permission for Items in the target process work board#

Users who belong to the process work board management role

If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, the user can only work with Items for which he or she is an Item view permissions owner.
When an Item is registered in error, the user who registered the Item can delete it provided that the following conditions are met:

The user who deletes the Item is the one who registered the Item

The Item has not been edited or escalated
You cannot delete an Item that is being edited by another user. If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, you cannot delete an Item for which you are not an Item view permissions owner.
Note that you cannot use the procedure below to delete stored Items. For details on how to delete stored Items, see the description of the Item storage database in the JP1/Service Support Configuration and Administration Guide.
To delete an Item:

In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), select the Item you want to delete.
You can only delete one Item at a time. You cannot select multiple Items to delete.

From the menu in the main window (Item list), select Action and then Delete item.
A confirmation dialog box appears.

Click OK.
The selected Item is deleted.

If related Items have been created through escalation, delete these Items as needed.
