4.3.5 Displaying Item work statuses

You can trace the history of the work users have performed on an Item. This information appears in list form in the Work status display window. The information users enter in the Work status field of the New item and Edit item window is recorded in the database each time an Item is updated, and can be displayed in the Work status display window. Entries are listed in the List of work status area in order from newest to oldest. Note that only the following users can perform the operations described in this section:

If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, the user can only work with Items for which he or she is an Item view permissions owner.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Displaying the Work status display window

To display the Work status display window:

  1. In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), select the Item whose work status you want to display.

  2. From the menu in the main window (Item list), select Action and then Work status display.

    The Work status display window appears.

The following figure shows the Work status display window.

You can click the [Figure] icon to hide all of the basic elements of the Item except for the title.

Note

There are two other ways to display the Work status display window:

  • In the list of Items in the main window (Item list), the list of target Items in the main window (Item status), the History display window, the Status of related item window, or the List of item search results window, right-click the title of the Item whose work status you want to view and select Work status display.

  • From the menu in the View Item window, select Action and then Work status display.

(2) Information displayed from anchor text

You can display additional information by clicking the following anchor text in the Work status display window:

Editor

By clicking the name of the user who edited the Item, you can display the User details window for that user.

Attached file(s)

By clicking the name of an attached file, you can display the Download the attached file window and download the file.

(3) Operations in the Work status display window

The following describes the operations you can perform in the Work status display window.

(a) Menus

Action
Display status of related item

Displays related Items. This command displays the Status of related item window.

History display

Displays the history of an Item. This command displays the View history window.

Show progress

Displays the progress of an Item. This command displays the Show progress window.

View item

Displays detailed information about an Item. This command displays the View Item window.

Edit item

Edits an Item. This command displays the Edit item window. This command is unavailable if the selected Item is a stored Item.

Display the Print Window

Displays the print window for the Item's work status. This command displays the window for printing the Item's work status. Use your browser's print function to print the contents of the window.

Close

Closes the Work status display window.

Refresh [Figure]

Updates the contents of the Work status display window.

(b) Context menu

A context menu appears when you right-click certain elements in the Work status display window. The following table lists the commands in this menu.
