7.1.1 Setting up user dump output
Perform the procedure below to set the registry to output user dumps. Carefully perform this operation because registry manipulation might affect the whole machine.

From the Start menu, enter regedit in the Search programs and files field, and then press Enter.
If the User Account Control window is displayed, click the Yes button.

In the tree on the left side of the window, expand the following key:
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting

Right click on the Windows Error Reporting key, and select New, and then select Key.

Enter LocalDumps in the new key.

Select the created LocalDumps key, and then create the registry entries listed in the following table:
