6.9.1 Notes on installing and uninstalling
The following shows notes on installing and uninstalling JP1/service Support.

After uninstalling JP1/Service Support, files and subdirectories might remain in the installation directory. If you re-install JP1/Service Support in the same directory after uninstallation, make sure that the directory is empty. If you re-install JP1/Service Support in a directory that is not empty, installation might fail.
If installation fails, use an empty directory and try installation again.

Before you install JP1/Service Support, make sure that the status of the Windows Firewall service is Started. If the status is not Started, installation will fail.
If installation of JP1/Service Support fails, change the status of the Windows Firewall service to Started, and then try again.

This product supports Japanese in the Japanese version of Windows, English in the English version of Windows, and Simplified Chinese in the Chinese version of Windows.
Before installing this product, make sure that the language setting in Windows is compatible with the product.

Do not change the language setting in above table after installation. If you change the language setting after installing this product, text saved before changing the setting might be corrupted.
If you need to change the language setting, uninstall this product, change the language setting, and then re-install this product.
