An attempt to read the event acquisition filter definition file during startup of JP1/IM - Manager failed.

S:

Terminates processing.

O:

Check the following items:

• Is there a displayed file?

  If not, use the definition file creation procedure described below to create a file.

• Does the displayed file have administrator (in Windows) or root (in UNIX) read and write permissions?

  If permissions are not assigned, assign them.

If the problem is other than the above, the definition file may be corrupted. Use the definition file creation procedure to create a file.

To create a definition file:

1. Execute the jco_spmd_status command to determine whether JP1/IM - Manager has stopped.

2. If the event acquisition filter definition file is backed up, restore the file, and then restart JP1/IM - Manager.

3. If the event acquisition filter definition file is not backed up, use the following procedure to restore the event acquisition filter (the filter that acquires events other than JP1/SES events) to initial status. Then start JP1/IM - Manager, and reconfigure the definition of the event acquisition filter.

   To restore the event acquisition filter to initial status:

   In Windows:

   copy Console-path\conf\console\filter\receive_filter.conf.model Console-path\conf\console\filter\receive_filter.conf

   In UNIX:

   cp -p /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/receive_filter.conf.model /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/receive_filter.conf
