An invalid value is set in the event acquisition filter definition file.

S:

Stops reading data from the event acquisition filter definition file and continues processing. The System Environment Settings window can no longer be started from JP1/IM - View.

O:

If the event acquisition filter definition file (file-name) has been backed up, stop JP1/IM - Manager, restore the definition file, and then restart JP1/IM - Manager.

If the event acquisition filter definition file has not been backed up, stop JP1/IM - Manager, and then use the following procedure to restore the initial status of the event acquisition filter (the filter that acquires events other than JP1/SES events). After that, start JP1/IM - Manager and reconfigure the event acquisition filter.

To restore the initial status of the event acquisition filter:

In Windows:

Restoring the physical host:

cd console_path\conf\console\filter

copy receive_filter.conf.model receive_filter.conf

Restoring the logical host:

cd shared_folder\jp1cons\conf\console\filter

copy receive_filter.conf.model receive_filter.conf

In UNIX:

Restoring the physical host:

cd /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter

cp -p receive_filter.conf.model receive_filter.conf

Restoring the logical host:

cd common-directory/jp1cons/conf/console/filter

cp -p receive_filter.conf.model receive_filter.conf

If the problem persists, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
