5.10 Add Profile window

The Add Profile window is used to add profiles for log file trapping or for remote-monitoring log file trapping. These profiles can be added only when the version of JP1/Base on the agent is 09-10 or later.

The following figures show examples of the Add Profile window that is displayed.

Log file trap name

Use this text box to enter the name under which log file traps and remote monitoring log file traps will trap log files.

A character string having from 1 through 30 bytes can be entered. The character string can use alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).

The first character must be an alphanumeric character. Alphabetic characters are not case sensitive.

Cluster ID

Use this check box to determine whether to specify a cluster ID.

For details on cluster IDs, see the description of the log-file trap startup definition file in the JP1/Base User's Guide.

Enable

To specify a cluster ID, select the Enable check box.

By default, this check box is cleared.

ID

Enter a cluster ID in this text box. A character string having no more than two bytes can be entered. You can specify a value in the range from 0 to 99. The default is 0.

This text box is enabled only when the Enable check box is selected.
