5.9.1 Valid Configuration Information page

The Valid Configuration Information page of the Display/Edit Profiles window displays the profile information that is valid in JP1/Base or for remote monitoring. This page has a tree display area and a node information display area. The tree display area displays in a tree structure the profile information that is valid in for JP1/Base or for remote monitoring. The node information display area displays the detailed information about nodes displayed in the tree display area.

The following figure shows an example of the Valid Configuration Information page.

Note that the following description is based on the agent configuration. The items displayed in the page for the remote monitoring configuration might be different from the items described below.

Tree display area

Displays the profile information that is valid in JP1/Base or for remote monitoring in a tree structure. The following describes the items displayed in the tree display area.

Plus sign (+) icon

A plus sign (+) icon is displayed when there are files under the setting name.

If the plus sign (+) icon is clicked, the setting name is expanded to show the files.

Minus sign (-) icon

A minus sign (-) icon is displayed when there are files under the setting name.

If the minus sign (-) icon is clicked, the expanded setting name is collapsed to hide the files.

Indicates a host name.

[Figure]

Indicates a product name.

[Figure] or [Figure]

Indicates a setting name. If there are files under the setting name, [Figure] is displayed with a plus sign (+) or a minus sign (-) icon on the left.

If there are no files, [Figure] is displayed.

Indicates a file name.

Node information display area

The node information display area on the Valid Configuration Information page displays valid configuration information about the display item selected in the tree display area.

The following describes the items displayed for each function selected in the tree display area.

When the to-upper format is used in the forwarding settings file (forward) and no upper-level host exists, the transfer conditions are disabled and not displayed because there is no destination host.

The file displayed for Event Forwarding is the forwarding settings file (forward). If the user clicks this file, the current setting values are displayed. For details about this file, see the description of the forwarding settings file in the JP1/Base User's Guide.

(2) Log File Trapping

(5) Authentication Server

The following are the items displayed in the Valid Configuration Information area when the profile information of the authentication server is selected:

Authentication server information is set by using the jbssetupsrv command (Windows) or the jbssetusrsrv command (UNIX). For details about these commands, see the relevant descriptions in the JP1/Base User's Guide.

(6) JP1 User-Permissions Level

The following figure shows the items displayed in the Valid Configuration Information area when the profile information of the JP1 user-permission level is selected.
