3.5.3 Collecting a Java console log (When not using the Send and Receive App)

If you cannot solve the problem, collect log data by following the procedure below and then send the log file to the system administrator.

To collect log data:

1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel.

   The Control Panel appears.

2. Double-click the Java icon.

   The Java Control Panel appears.

3. Click the Advanced tab, and then select all the check boxes under Debugging. Click the OK button.

   

4. Restart Internet Explorer (IE).

   Do the same operation as when the problem occurred.

5. In the task tray, right-click the displayed Java icon.

   Click Open version Console. The Java Console appears.

   

6. Click the Copy button.

   Paste the log data in a text editor (such as notepad), and then save it in a file.

   Send the saved file to the system administrator.
