Figure 7‒30: Unit tab of Format Definition Settings window

[Figure]

The following describes the items displayed on the Unit tab:

Print style

Select the style in which unit names appear in printed documents.

Full path

Displays unit names by full path (example: /AAA/BBB/CCC)

Name

Displays the unit name in the hierarchical structure (example: |- AAA)

Name and level number of subordinate units

Displays the unit name and its level number in the hierarchical structure (example: |- (1)AAA)

Column width

Specify the maximum width of the unit name column (as a number of characters). If you select Auto, the column is sized to fit the entire unit name. If you select Fixed, you can specify the column width as a value from 10 to 80.

If you select Auto, the column can become excessively wide when displaying full unit paths. For this reason, we recommend that you select Fixed.

Displays comments

Specify whether to display comments alongside unit names.

If you select this check box, the unit name is displayed in the format unit-name [comment].

Example: |- AAAA [Order Processing]

If there is no comment for a unit, a hyphen (-) is displayed.

Example: |- AAAA [-]

Target unit types

Specify which unit types to include in the document.

To exclude a unit type from the document, clear the check box associated with that unit type. By default, all unit types are selected.

The unit types supported in new version may be not added to old version format definition file. If you browse this file in the Format Definition Settings window, the check boxes of added unit types in Target unit types are selected.

If you check the Select / Unselect all check box, all unit types will be checked. If you uncheck the check box, no unit type will be checked. Also if you uncheck any unit type check box while all unit types are specified to be checked, the Select / Unselect all check box will be automatically unchecked.
