[Figure]

In the Command field, enter the following command:

"C:\Program Files\Hitachi\JP1AJS2PO#1\jprcollect_cl.exe" -h (HOST_NAME)
 -s (SERVICE_NAME) -c (CHAR_CODE) -u (UNIT_NAME) -6#2
#1

Specify the folder where you installed JP1/AJS3 - Print Option.

#2

You must specify the -6 option if either of the following applies:

  • The host where JP1/AJS3 - View and JP1/AJS3 - Print Option are installed uses an IPV6 address

  • The host from which job operation information is being collected (the host where JP1/AJS3 - Print Option Manager is installed) uses an IPv6 address

Note that only Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, Windows 7, and Linux support the use of IPv6 addresses. If you use IPv6 addresses, you must specify the setting in the jprpoml.ini file. For details on how to specify the setting, see step 3 in 3.4.4 Notes on changing IP addresses.

Enter the variable portions of the command, such as (HOST_NAME), as they appear above. For details on the character strings that replace each variable, see the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide.

Note:
  • Communication between JP1/AJS3 - Print Option and JP1/AJS3 - Print Option Manager is not encrypted. Take either of the following procedures:

    - Use linkage with JP1/AJS3 - View in a network environment where security measures are taken.

    - Using, for example, an FTP to which security mode is set, transfer a job operation information file that has been output by JP1/AJS3 - Print Option Manager to JP1/AJS3 - Print Option, and then output a document.

  • Use alternate strings, such as (HOST_NAME) or (SERVICE_NAME), without specifying the actual name of a host or service. If the actual name is specified, the program cannot collect job operation information properly.

  • A command must be entered in the Command field. We do not guarantee the proper operation of the command if it is run manually or as a script.
