6.10.8 Operations common among Dashboard windows

Organization of this subsection

(1) Displaying the Select Dashboard window

Figure 6‒18: Dashboard link

[Figure]

To display the Select Dashboard window, click the menu icon at the upper left of the window, and then click the Dashboard link.

(2) Selecting the target display range

To select the range of analysis results to be displayed, use the window that opens when you click the Display scope link located at the top right of the window.

Figure 6‒19: Display scope link

[Figure]

Clicking the clock Display scope link at the top right of the window opens the Display Range Selection window.

You can specify the beginning and end of the target display range by using the window displayed by selecting one of the following three links. When you specify the beginning and end of the target display range and then click the Update button, the analysis result for the specified target display range is regenerated and displayed in the Dashboard window.

By default, 6 Months ago of the Relative link is specified as the beginning, and the Now link is specified as the end of the target display range.

You can also specify a date and time earlier than the current date and time as the end of the target display range.

(a) Specifying the target display range from the Absolute link

In a window displayed when you select the Absolute link, you can specify absolute data and time as the beginning or end of the target display range.

Figure 6‒20: Window that is displayed when the Absolute link is selected

[Figure]

(b) Specifying the target display range from the Relative link

In a window displayed when you select the Relative link, you can specify date and time relative to the current date and time as the beginning or end of the target display range. By enabling Round to the month, you can specify the first day of the specified month.

[Figure]

(c) Specifying the target display range from the Now link

If you click Set start date and time to now or Set end date and time to now in a window displayed when you select the Now link, you can specify the current date and time as the beginning or end of the target display range.

Figure 6‒22: Window that is displayed when the Now link is selected

[Figure]

Specifying a display start time and a display end time as an absolute time and then clicking the Go button regenerates the analysis results for the specified target display range and displays them in the Dashboard window.

(3) Analysis data filter

You can filter the analysis results being displayed in the Dashboard window.

(a) Filter setup

Clicking on a graph allows you to set filters for values on the horizontal axis or the vertical axis (when the axis is color-coded).

If the vertical axis is color-coded, you are prompted to select values on the horizontal and vertical axes to set filters. Select values on which you want to set filters and then click the Apply button, which results in filters being set on the selected values. If you click the Cancel link, no filter is set.

[Figure]

Moving the mouse pointer to a table cell displays the filter addition icon on the right side.

Figure 6‒24: Filter addition icon display example

[Figure]

Clicking the filter addition icon sets up a filter using the value in the clicked cell.

(b) Filter operation

When a filter is set up, the set filter is displayed in the upper section of the window.

Figure 6‒25: Example of a set filter that is displayed when a filter is set up

[Figure]

Moving the mouse pointer to a filter displays actions that can be used to change the filter settings.

[Figure]

  • Pin across all apps

If you click this action, the filter whose status can be enabled for all Dashboard windows selectable in the Select Dashboard window becomes enabled, and the Dashboard windows show up again. After the filter is enabled, the action label changes to Unpin.

  • Exclude results

If you click this action, the reversal of the filter condition becomes enabled, and the Dashboard windows show up again. After the reversal of the filter condition is enabled, the action label changes to Include results.

  • Temporarily disable

If you click this action, the filter becomes enabled and the Dashboard windows show up again. After you enable the filter, the action label changes to Re-enable.

  • Delete

Clicking this icon deletes the filter.

Important
  • If you set up multiple filters, the upper filter display area might become two lines and the window might not be displayed correctly. In this case, adjust the number of filters so that they fit on one line.

  • If you set up multiple filters, an error might occur due to the URL length restriction of the browser. In this case, adjust the number of filters so that they do not exceed the URL length restriction.

(4) Graph operation

Dragging the mouse pointer over a graph whose horizontal axis indicates elapsed time (timestamps) regenerates the analysis results in the specified format using the period between the drag start and end times as the display range and displays those results in the Dashboard window.

(5) Table operation

(a) Sorting

Clicking the sorting icon in the top row of a table column sorts the row values in that column in ascending order. If sorting is already specified, the sorting order is switched between ascending and descending.

(b) Downloading

By clicking the Raw or Formatted link at the bottom left of a table, you can download the table's data.

Figure 6‒28: Downloading links

[Figure]

  • Raw link

By clicking this link, you can download the content described in the source operation logs in CSV format.

  • Formatted link

By clicking this link, you can download the content of the enabled filters in CSV format.

By clicking this link, you can download, in CSV format, the content where the values of the timestamp column were converted to the date and time format and the values of the msec column were converted to the format divided into groups of three digits each.

Example of a converted value of the timestamp column:

    2019/01/12Δ13:47:37

    Legend: Δ: Halfwidth space character

Example of a converted value of the msec column:

    1.484.196.457.903

(c) Moving through pages

If all rows of a table do not fit within a window, you can display one page at a time by clicking a number in the pager displayed on the bottom right of the table.
