6.8.3 Deleting nodes, parts, relation lines, and mapping lines

You can perform deletion on an area basis. For example, you cannot simultaneously delete the nodes and parts displayed in the operational flow area together with the parts displayed in the guide area. The following shows the deletion procedure:

  1. In the operational flow area of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the nodes, parts, and/or relation lines to be deleted.

  2. Click the Delete button on the toolbar, or press the Delete key on the keyboard.

  3. In the guide area of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the parts to be deleted.

  4. Click the Delete button on the toolbar, or press the Delete key on the keyboard.

  5. In the guide area (mapping mode) of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the Plugin Parts or mapping lines.

If you select a Plugin Part, all mapping lines become subject to deletion.

  6. Click the Delete button on the toolbar, or press the Delete key on the keyboard.

    Note
    • In the guide area in mapping mode, you can only delete Plugin Parts even if other parts are also displayed. To delete parts other than Plugin Parts, stop mapping mode.

    • If you use the Undo button to restore nodes, parts, or relation lines or use the Redo button to perform deletion again, the part order might change. The part order change might affect Guide Parts that are set to be emphasized when an invalid value is input, or that are placed in consideration of the order of error messages to be displayed. In such a case, verify the behavior of the Operational Content.
