6.1.1 Publishing Operational Content

In the menu area of the Operational Content Editing Window, select the check box of the piece of Operational Content that you want to publish.

Select the Make Public menu.
The Review the Operational Contents to be Published window appears.

In the Comments text box, enter a comment about the selected piece of Operational Content.
- Note on entering a comment:

The comment entered here will overwrite the existing comment. If you enter nothing in the Comments text box, the existing comment will be lost. To leave the existing comment, copy it to the Comments text box.

Click the Make Public button.
The selected piece of Operational Content is published.

Each published piece of Operational Content can have a maximum of five generations of history. However, changes to the following items are not recorded as a history:

Name of the piece of Operational Content

Name of the group that the piece of Operational Content belongs to

Access permission groups or JP1 resource groups set in the piece of Operational Content

Comment on the piece of Operational Content
Changes to the above items are not displayed as differences in the difference display window (because these changes are not recorded as a history). Note that changing the above items only updates the information about the piece of Operational Content, without creating a new version.
