5.3.3 Placing Plugin Parts (guide area)

This subsection describes how to place Plugin Parts in the guide area. Note that the Plugin Parts that you place in the guide area of the Operational Content Editing Window do not appear in the Operational Content Execution Window.

  1. In the operational flow area, click the Process Node to which you want to assign a plugin.

    The Guide corresponding to the Operational Flow appears in the guide area.

  2. Click [Figure] (the Plugin button) in the toolbar.

    The guide area switches to mapping mode.

  3. In the Plugins palette in the guide area, click the button for the plugin that you want to place.

  4. Click a location in the guide area.

    A Plugin Part corresponding to the button you clicked in the Plugins palette is placed in the guide area.

  5. Double-click the Plugin Part.

    If the plugin is one for which attributes need to be set, the Attribute Settings window appears.

    The Attribute Settings window does not appear if you double-click a User Plugin, or a plugin that can be placed without setting attributes.

  6. Set the items required for the type of Plugin Part whose attributes you are setting.

  7. Click the Update button.

    The Attribute Settings window closes, and the changes to the Plugin Part attributes take effect.
