The following describes the items in the Attribute Settings window.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Parameter Name text box

Enter a parameter name using a maximum of 64 characters. An error occurs if:

The string you enter contains a character that is not a single-byte alphanumeric character, single-byte underscore (_), period (.), space, or single-byte hyphen (-).
The parameter name you specify already exists

Enter a description of the parameter using a maximum of 64 characters. You can also enter control characters.

An error occurs if:

You enter a character string that is longer than 64 characters
The character string you enter contains a character whose ASCII code is 0x00 to 0x09, 0x0B, 0x0C, 0x0E to 0x1F, or 0x7F.

Note that each control character counts as one character. For example, a linefeed code (\r\n) will count as two characters.

Adds a parameter. The new parameter is added to the bottom of the list.

Deletes the parameter on the line where you clicked the Delete button.
