4.11.2 How to use hyperlink parts (guide area)
To use a hyperlink part, specify the URL of the link destination. When you want to display a file stored in the web server (server machine), you need to obtain the URL of the file by using the File Management/Registration window or request the system administrator for the URL. For details about the File Management/Registration window, see 2.9.6 Storing a static file by using the File Management/Registration window.
You can use hyperlink parts effectively, for example, in the following cases:
-
You need to reference an external system during work.
Setting links not only enables you to save time to search for necessary external systems, but also prevents you from referencing unnecessary external systems by mistake.
-
You want to use the documented procedures and information lists that summarize the information required for work.
If you let the user reference link destinations for details of operation, you can shorten the time required to create and maintain the guide area, and make the descriptions in the guide area simple and easy to read.
