2.9.6 Storing a static file by using the File Management/Registration window

This subsection describes how to store a new static file by using the File Management/Registration window.

  1. In the header area in the Operational Content Editing Window, select the File Management/Registration menu item.

    The File Management/Registration window appears.

  2. Click the Browse button.

A dialog box appears to let you select a file.

  3. Select the static file to be stored in the web server, and then click the Open button.

The path name of the selected static file is input to the Upload File text box.

  4. Click the Upload button.

The selected static file is stored in the web server, and then added to the file list in the File Management/Registration window.

  5. Click the Get URL button.

The path name of the static file is copied onto the clipboard in a format that fits the URL text box in the Attribute Settings window. Paste the copied path name into the URL text box.

    Important

When you click the Get URL button, your web browser might display a dialog box to ask your permission for access. If this occurs, permit the access. If you do not permit the access, you cannot obtain the path name. If you refuse the access accidentally, you must close the File Management/Registration window once.
