2.4.2 Items in the Edit Permissions window

The following figure shows the Edit Permissions window.

Figure 2‒4: Edit Permissions window

[Figure]

The following describes the items in the Edit Permissions window.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Access permission group name

The Edit Permissions window displays the names of the access permission groups that can be set for Operational Content. Clicking a name opens the Check access permission groups window, which enables you to reference the definition of the access permission group. When the check box for an access permission group displayed in the Edit Permissions window is selected, the access permission group is set for Operational Content.

The Edit Permissions window displays all the access permission groups that can be set for Operational Content, but the access permission groups that can be selected vary by the role assigned to the user. If only one access permission group is selectable, the access permission group is in the selected state but is inactive in the window.

When you are the system administrator:

You can select any access permission groups that are displayed.

When you are the Content Manager:

You can select only the access permission groups in which you have been registered as the Content Manager.

When you are the Content Editor:

All the access permission groups set for Operational Content are in the selected state and inactive.

(2) OK button

Clicking this button sets the access permission groups specified by selecting check boxes for Operational Content, and then closes the Edit Permissions window.

(3) Cancel button

Clicking this button closes the Edit Permissions window without setting any access permission groups for Operational Content.
