10.3.1 Corrective action if starting or stopping the dashboard server fails
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Navigation Platform Dashboard Web Service
If starting or stopping the Navigation Platform Dashboard Web Service fails, refer to the error message output to the event log (application) and take corrective action.
(2) Navigation Platform Dashboard Storage Service
-
If starting the Navigation Platform Dashboard Storage Service fails, it is possible that the following ports specified in the user setup property file (ucnp_setup_user.properties) are already in use. Check the port usage status of these ports.
-
ucnp.setup.server.dashboard.storage.http.port
-
ucnp.setup.server.dashboard.storage.transport.tcp.port
If there are no problems with the port usage status of these ports, the amount of memory usable by the OS might be smaller than the amount of memory specified by the npdashboardsetstoragememory command, which modifies the storage memory settings. Revise the setting for the memory capacity required for the storage service of the dashboard server (the value set by the npdashboardsetstoragememory command).
For details about estimating the required memory capacity when using the dashboard function, see 5.4.4(2) Estimating the memory capacity when using the dashboard function. For details about how to use the npdashboardsetstoragememory command, see 9.5 npdashboardsetstoragememory command (modify storage memory settings).
If the problem is not resolved, collect troubleshooting information and contact the customer support center.
