4.4 Setup preparations when enabling HTTPS communications
When enabling HTTPS communications, you must first change the property ucnp.setup.server.cosminexus.hws.http.protocol in the user setup property file (ucnp_setup_user.properties) from its default value to https.
Next, specify the following information as needed. The content inside parentheses refers to the corresponding property name in the user setup property file.
-
Application of web server CA certificate settings (ucnp.setup.server.cosminexus.hws.http.cacert.enable)
To enable CA certificate settings, set this to true.
-
Encryption method used for the private server key for the web server (ucnp.setup.server.cosminexus.hws.http.ssl.privatekey.type)
Specify the encryption method for the private server key used with the SSL certificate.
Available encryption methods include RSA encryption, ECC (elliptic-curve cryptography), or both. When using both RSA encryption and ECC (elliptic-curve cryptography), the Web browser (client side) switches the server certificate to use, based on the encryption suite that it supports.
