13.8.3 Error and normal alarms are raised alternately in PFM - Agent for Service Response measurement
In PFM - Agent for Service Response measurement, if a measurement result contains alternate error alarms and normal alarms, it may be caused by the loss of performance data to be collected.
The loss of performance data may occur if the collection interval for the Agent Collector service of PFM - Agent for Service Response (Collection Interval property value) is less than twice the measurement interval specified in the measurement condition registration file (<INTERVAL> tag value). For details about the loss of performance data, see Example 2 in 5.2.2 (2) Notes about Agent Collector's collection interval settings.
To avoid the error caused by the loss of performance data, use the following methods:
-
Review the collection interval for the Agent Collector service and the measurement interval in the measurement condition registration file. (Double the collection interval for the Agent Collector service compared to the measurement interval in the measurement condition registration file.)
-
Interpolate the lost performance data using the previously collected data.
For details about how to interpolate the lost data, see 3.4.4 Interpolating performance data.
