7.2.6 Set Web Transaction Conditions window

The Set Web Transaction Conditions window is used to set information about a Web transaction, such as information used to identify the transaction, proxy settings, SSL authentication#, and overall information about the Web transaction's requests. To display this window, in the Web Recorder (main) window, from the Transaction menu, choose Set Transaction. This window consists of tabs for four pages:

#

If you specify the SSL authentication settings, these settings are not applied when measuring.

The following subsections describe the items displayed on each page.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Web Transaction Info page

The Web Transaction Info page displays identification information for the Web transaction. Each item on this page displays information that was specified when the Web transaction was created.

Figure 7‒8: Set Web Transaction Conditions window (Web Transaction Info page)

[Figure]

The following describes the displayed items.

Web transaction name:

Displays the name of the subject Web transaction. This information cannot be changed.

Saved file name:

Displays the name of the Web transaction file that contains the subject Web transaction information. This information cannot be changed.

Comment:

Character set:

Specify the default character set for the HTML file acquired in the Web transaction. If there are steps whose acquired HTML file that does not specify the character set, PFM - Agent for Service Response assumes its character set to be what you specify here.

From the pull-down menu, select Shift_JIS, EUC-JP, ISO-2022-JP, UTF-8, GB18030# or None specified. None specified is selected by default. Note that when you select None specified, it means Shift_JIS on Japanese OS, GB18030 on Chinese OS, or US-ASCII on the other OS.

#

GB18030 supports only in Chinese OS and you cannot use the 4 bytes characters.

Note:

If you mistakenly select the character set, the Web transaction monitoring may fail when you set the response determination condition or condition of variable string.

Reference note:

Regardless of the Character set setting, the Web transaction file is output in Shift_JIS on Japanese OS, GB18030 on Chinese OS, or US-ASCII on the other OS.

Select this check box when you output the acquired HTML and HTTP header in a file. This check box is not selected by default.
