5.1.3 Stopping services
The following shows the procedure for stopping the services of PFM - Agent for Service Response.

(1) Stopping the services other than the IE Probe Daemon service
The following shows the procedure for stopping the services other than the IE Probe Daemon service.

From the Windows Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools, then Services.

From the list of services, click the Stop button for, in this order, the PFM - Agent for Service Response service, and the PFM - Agent Store for Service Response service.
(2) Stopping the IE Probe Daemon service
The following shows the procedure for stopping the IE Probe Daemon service.

Start as a Windows service
From the Windows Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools, then Services. From the list of services, click the Stop button for, in this order, the PFM - Agent for Service Response service, and the PFM - Agent Store for Service Response service.#

Start as an application
Right-click the IE Probe icon on the system tray, and from the popup menu choose Exit.
