5.1.2 Starting services
The following shows the procedure for starting the services of PFM - Agent for Service Response.

(1) Starting the services other than the IE Probe Daemon service
The following shows the procedure for starting the services other than the IE Probe Daemon service:

From the Windows Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools, then Services.

From the list of services, click the Start button for, in this order, the PFM - Agent Store for Service Response service, and the PFM - Agent for Service Response service.
(2) Starting the IE Probe Daemon service
The IE Probe Daemon service can be started in two ways: as a Windows service or as an application. You can use either of them to start the service.

Start as a Windows service
From the Windows Control Panel, choose Administrative Tools, then Services. From the list of services, click the Start button for, in this order, the PFM - Agent Store for Service Response service, and the PFM - Agent for Service Response service.#

Start as an application
From Windows Start menu, choose All Programs, Performance Management, Agent Option for Service Response, and then IE Probe.
