6.1 Manual maintenance of system configuration information

In the System Configuration window and Destination window, you can search for newly added hosts and register them in host groups. You can also find and delete duplicate hosts in the system configuration information.

You can use the following methods to search for hosts:

• Search using a name (such as a destination name, host group name, or ID group name) as the search key

• Search using the registration date of the host as the search key

• Search for duplicate hosts (hosts that have different host IDs but share a MAC address, IP address, or host name)

Each method is described below. This section also describes how to copy hosts from the search results to the Destination window, and how to delete them from the system configuration information.
