Performance Management collects performance data in units called records. After deciding which items to monitor, check the names of the corresponding Performance Management records.
As a result of the examination, Company H decided to use monitoring templates for PFM - Agent for Platform (Windows). These templates fulfill all of the requirements for monitoring the Internet marketing system's performance. Performance Management provides pre-defined reports and alarms, called monitoring templates, for frequently monitored items. By using these solution sets, you can easily prepare to monitor a system's operating status without using complex definitions.
For details about what to take into consideration when you evaluate the items to be monitored, see 3.4.3 Examining alarms and reports.
For details about the monitoring templates that are provided and which records to collect, see the chapters about monitoring templates and records in each PFM - Agent manual.
