3.5 Files to back up
If you are performing an upgrade installation or migrating the system environment, first back up the definition files as needed, then upgrade the product or install the environment in the migration target. After installation, restore the backed-up definition files.

If the migration source and migration target have different OSs, the location for storing the restored files may vary. See the table below to check the location for storing the files before executing the restoration.

Replace PATH with the following information:

In Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP
Replace PATH with the installation folder. The default installation folder is system-drive:\Program Files\Hitachi\JP1AJS2PO.

In Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Vista
Replace PATH with %allusersprofile%\Hitachi\JP1\JP1_DEFAULT\JP1AJS2PO. The default value of %allusersprofile%\ is system-drive:\ProgramData.
