10.3 Registering Active Directory groups linking with JP1/AO

When linking with Active Directory, if you want to link groups, register groups of Active Directory as user groups of JP1/AO.

Who can perform this task:

Users with User Management permission

To register Active Directory groups to link with JP1/AO:

1. In the left pane of the Administration window, click Users and Permissions.

2. In the left pane of the Users and Permissions window, select Groups.

3. In the right pane of the Users and Permissions window (Groups view), click domain-name to which the group you want to register belongs.

4. In the Group List view, click the Add Groups button.

5. In the Add Groups dialog box, enter the identification name for the group of Active Directory to link with JP1/AO in the Distinguished Name text box.

   Enter the identification name according to RFC 4514.

6. If necessary, click the Check DN button.

   Verification to check if the entered identification name is specified correctly, and if the identification name is registered in Active Directory.

7. Click the OK button.

The group of Active Directory to link with JP1/AO is registered.
